SINGAPORE – A 21-year-old man was arrested after a woman saw her filming while she was using the bathroom on the fourth floor of the Institute's campus. Singapore Management (SIM) Saturday morning (July 21st). ] In a Facebook post, Liyin Lee, a SIM student, wrote that she had noticed that a phone was being held over the compartment where she was located.
She immediately left the cabin and waited outside the restroom with a friend.
When the man finally emerged, Ms. Lee and her friend asked her why he was in the women's restroom. Ms. Lee stated that the man claimed to have accidentally entered because he had a stomach ache.
Ms. Lee also wrote that the man claimed to have classes on the second floor despite the toilet that he occupied on the fourth floor.
Police said to have arrested the man after being warned of a suspected case of insult to decency of a woman at the SIM around 10:58 am
Investigations of police are in progress.
