JEDDAH – Eleven-year-old Singaporean violinist Chloe Chua will perform on Monday at the Dar Al-Hekma University Hall with Saudi pianist Iyman Qusti. She was also scheduled to perform at the King Fahd Cultural Center in Riyadh
The two concerts are organized by the General Authority of Culture.
Chloe Chua studies violin at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), String Section of the School of Young Talents (SYT), since the age of four . She is currently studying with Yin Ke, SYT's String Program Leader.
In addition to appearing at public concerts and music festivals, Chloe recently won the Junior Junior Award at the Menuhin Competition in Geneva 2018.
He has been awarded in many other competitions, including 1st place at the 24th International Violin Competition of Andrea Postacchini (May 2017) and 3rd place at the Violin Group A of the 2nd International Mozart Competition for Young Musicians of Zhuhai. In addition to playing the violin, Chloe enjoys reading, swimming and skateboarding.
