The Serie A disciplinary court said that Conti "found the referee in his locker room at the end of the match and prevented him from closing the door by hitting him with both his fists. had shouted at the referee offensive words ".

The statement adds that Maldini "entered the cloakroom of the umpire without permission and sent him a hurtful remark".

Maldini recorded a record 647 league appearances in Serie A before retiring at the age of 40 in 2009. He has recorded 902 club matches in all competitions, winning seven Serie A titles and five titles in the European Cup or Champions League.
