AC Schnitzer review parts outside of the i8 Roadster with upgrades carbon fiber. The revised front features kidney grille covers, in addition to a new fascia with prominent vertical dividers, corner fins, and ducks. On the side, owners can add sill extensions, mirror caps and door pull covers. A rear diffuser is also among the available parts, and buyers can also choose a new rear fender.

Inside, AC Schnitzer has some finishing pieces that dress up the booth. Aluminum parts cover the pedals, footrests and iDrive controller. There are also velvet floor mats.

The tuning company also offers a set of forged five-spoke wheels available in two-tone or anthracite finishes. They measure 8.5 inches wide at the front and 9.5 inches at the back, and they have a diameter of 21 inches at both ends. The larger wheels weigh 4.4 kilograms less than the 20-inch design wheels of BMW Turbine. However, there is absolutely no difference when you take into account their weight with the tires.

AC Schnitzer also has a revised spring kit for the i8 Roadster. The new parts lower the ride height by 20 to 25 millimeters in front and rear, compared to the standard configuration.

Tuner upgrades do not address the i8 Roadster's powertrain. The hybrid configuration still produces 369 horsepower combined, and it can accelerate up to 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds. BMW limits the top speed to 155 mph.
