Airbus CEO declares merger of BAE jet fighter units: Sunday Times

LONDON: The General Manager of Airbus said that he was open to a merger of his fighter's aircraft activities with that of BAE Systems, reported the Sunday Times.

Tom Enders it was time to "seriously consider regrouping and merging efforts into one" and "there is no room for three different programs, even for two"

His comments raise the prospect of a panoply of programs. European Union

Airbus and BAE Systems were not immediately available for comment
