Andy Murray dropped 690 places in the world rankings to 839 following his injury problems and his late withdrawal from Wimbledon this year.
The former British No. 1 and triple Grand Slam champion is now British No. 23.
Murray, 31, underwent a hip operation in January after being removed from the Action at Wimbledon last year, after losing to Sam Querrey in the quarter-finals.
He has only played three games since. He lost to Nick Kyrgios at Queen's, before taking a wildcard to enter Eastbourne International, where he beat Stan Wawrinka in the first round and then lost to Kyle Edmund.
