Doctors have told, which most often Ukrainians die

70% of the population die from diseases in the same category.

Ukraine is among the top countries with the highest rates of mortality from cardiovascular disease. They cause deaths in 70% of Ukrainians.

According to the President of the Association of cardiologists of Ukraine Volodymyr Kovalenko, the most common diagnosis is ischemic heart disease. Also the Ukrainians, often there are infarcts, strokes, cardiac arrhythmias and heart failure.

“Often die as a consequence of coronary heart disease. It is the springboard for developing these severe cardiovascular disease, including sudden cardiac death,” – said Kovalenko.

Cases such a death often occur in the middle of the street or in other public places.

“Most often die young people of working age, men. Against the background of an unhealthy way of life – they no longer smoke, drink, lead a sedentary lifestyle, rarely go to doctors. This is a significant medical problem because usually people who feel healthy”, – said the Director of the Center for emergency medical aid and catastrophe medicine, Kiev Anatoly Vershigora.
