Scientists have created an abnormal material that has unique quantum properties.
An international group of scientists has managed to create a Bose – Einstein condensate. It is reported Phys.org.
This abnormal material is a quantum liquid or a superfluid solid. The substance is composed of bosons that can be in the same quantum state.
At very low temperature as in space, the bosons exhibit unique quantum effects such as superfluidity. It allows the quantum liquid to infiltrate solids without friction. When this liquid forms crystals, it is called superfluid solid.
Create material when gravity is almost impossible. Scientists have therefore created a special device to create an ultra-low temperature and throw it into the rocket from a height of 243 kilometers. During the fall, there was an effect of weightlessness that allowed the device to perform 110 experiments.
Astronomers have found an abnormal planet, the age of which does not correspond to previously known data about similar objects.
