LONDON (REUTERS) – Arsenal continued its intense transfer activity in the closed season by recruiting midfielder Matteo Guendouzi from Ligue 2 club Lorient for an undisclosed amount, announced Wednesday the Premier League club.
The British media reported that the transfer was worth about £ 7 million ($ 12 million Singapore).
The U-20 Guendouzi international of France is Arsenal's new manager, Unai Emery, and follows defenders Stephan Lichtsteiner and Sokratis Papastathopoulos, goaltender Bernd Leno as well as midfielder Lucas Torreira.
