ONE Championship has been shaking up the mixed martial arts world recently and fans now have new reasons to watch the fights put on by the promotion. Despite the buzzing interest, however, there are still some questions that need to be answered for fans who have found themselves enticed by ONE Championship.
Let’s begin with a simple question: How can you watch ONE Championship?
ONE Championship has created a mobile app, which is available for Apple and Google users, entitled the “ONE Super App.” The best part? Not only is the app free to download, but all live events will also be free to stream.
Something to be mindful of when watching the live events from ONE Championship is the time difference. Because the promotion is based in Asia, there is about a 12-hour difference in time zones. The difference depends on where the event will be held, which could vary between places like Singapore or Indonesia. They do provide a helpful countdown clock on their website that helps to figure out the time difference.
Usually, the preliminary portion of ONE Championship’s cards begin sometime between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time. If you are located on the East Coast, the fight card would begin at 6 a.m. or 7 a.m. ET. For those of you on the West Coast, the fight card would begin at 3 a.m. or 4 a.m. PT.
At this time, there are just two more ONE Championship events left before the end of the year.
The next event on the promotion’s schedule is ONE: Warrior’s Dream set for Nov. 17, 2018, in Jakarta, Indonesia at the Stadium Istora. In the main event, a new welterweight champion will be crowned in a fight between the undefeated Tyler McGuire and Swedish striker Zebaztian Kadestam. Also featured on the card is kickboxing star Nieky Holzken taking on Cosmo Alexandre in his promotional debut.
