Israeli police closed the doors of the sacred Temple Mount of Jerusalem Friday after violent clashes erupted with the faithful.
Police said stones and fireworks were thrown at the officers. Deafening grenades were used by the police to control the clashes and clean the Mount of the Faithful and several explosions were heard.
