PETALING JAYA: A US court of justice (DoJ) and the claimant Global One Aviation (Global 5000) Ltd. for permission to start a bidding process to sell low fugitive businessman Taek Jho.
According to one of the following statements, one of the following statements has been made in the United States, that the parties have agreed that the proceeds of sale in the US may be determined through proper judicial proceedings.
"This agreement has been maintained with the United States Government to ensure that the parties are appropriately resolved," the statement said, quoting Global One Aviation's attorney.
On Oct 26, it was reported that DoJ and Global One Aviation Ltd had been co-ordinated with the Bombardier Global 5000 jet aircraft which is also known as Jho Low.
The jet is reportedly presently parked at Singapore's Seletar Airport.
The statement said the US District Court for the Central District of California issued the ruling on Wednesday (Oct 31).
The Malaysian Government wants to bring back the private jet, which was impounded by the Singaporean authorities in 2017.
It was reported that the aircraft is part of the US $ 1bil in assets allegedly acquired with funds misappropriated from 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB).
