Lionel Messi was not enrolled in the team of Barcelona
The 31-year-old has had more time to recover from the 2018 World Cup, even though he was not a member of the team. Argentina was eliminated on June 30th.
Messi made 54 appearances for Barca during the 2017-18 season as well as 11 other matches for Albiceleste.
Barça will travel to the United States on Tuesday for the International Champions Cup, with the Liga champions against Tottenham Hotspur, Roma and AC Milan next 10 days
