Nintendo and Mattel team up to create Mario Kart Hot Wheels . The toys debuted at San Diego Comic-Con 2018 and will be available in stores in the summer of 2019.
There are eight toys planned up to now, without any words if d & # 39; others are planned for later on the line. For now, you can expect to run on your favorite Hot Wheels track with Mario, Bowser, Peach, Luigi, Toad, Yoshi, Wario and Rosalina. Hot Wheels plans to release some Mario Kart-inspired tracks for people to run too
Each toy will be sold separately for $ 5. It's unclear if you'll be able to buy karts in bulk, nor how much Mario Kart's inspired tracks will cost.
For those who prefer to keep their races purely in the virtual world and out of physics, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has some new updates on the way. Shinya Takahashi, Nintendo's software development manager, confirmed that new patches are underway, although Nintendo has not yet revealed what exactly will be added and when. Some Mario Kart fans were disappointed that a Double Dash mode was not included in Deluxe, so maybe we can look forward to it.
