Toro Rosso have fitted older-spec Honda engines for the Mexican GP, but Pierre Gasly is still set to go back to the back of the grid again.
Both Gasly and Brendon Hartley ran a Honda's 'Spec Three' power unit at the two previous races and appeared to receive a boost in performance. Mexico's high altitude.
Honda did, however, introduce a new PU for Gasly in Practice. Only one, to add "to the pool of available units for the rest of this season" in his Austin engine case can not be salvaged.

Gasly did not post a lap time in the session, but it is now up to eight components for the year he will take heavy penalties and looks certain to start at the back of the grid for the third time in four races – even though he and Hartley will revert back to an older engine from Practice Two onwards.
"The reason for reverting to the earlier pre-Russia spec is that, we have a better understanding of this version of the United States," said Honda technical chief Toyoharu Tanabe.

Honda starts their partnership with Red Bull next season and there is a lot of anticipation for their spec engine, despite Toro Rosso opting against the unit in Russia after an unsuccessful practice debut.
The refined engine was thought to be worth half a year ago and it was brought to Canada by Honda and Hartley reached Q3, before starting at the back last weekend in Texas after Honda's "minor modifications".
But the latest Mexico setback was a problem, and it could be a problem for a farmer who has struggled with reliability.
