Xiaomi plans to launch several high-end electronics and gadgets in India starting next year. Continuing the momentum launched this year, the Chinese giant of smartphones and electronics will also offer a powerful Mi notebook with a gaming hardware, including a backlit keyboard, programmable keys, a display Full HD and several other high-end specifications.
Manu Kumar Jain, vice president of Xiaomi Global and director of India, said India was one of the company's priority markets. Xiaomi has launched several products in India with enthusiasm and dynamism. Interestingly, the company has launched some smartphones like POCO F1 in India. In recent months, the company has ventured into new categories in India, apart from smartphones. Smart TVs, home security, fitness bands, Bluetooth speakers, mid luggage, air purifiers, etc. from the company were very well received. Xiaomi has even deployed a dedicated 'Mi Home Experience Center'.
The Chinese company is now planning to scale up its operations in India, Jain said in an interview. Speaking about the company's projects, Jain Jain said: "Xiaomi will be trying to bring more of her gadgets here and her gaming laptop is on the list, along with a few other devices."

Xiaomi has a premium range of mid notebooks that contains the latest 8th-Gen Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors. The company recently launched a dimmed version with an Intel Core i3 processor.
The Mi Gaming laptop, however, sports game-centric features. Launched in August of this year, the laptop could attract players. It has a 15.6-inch Full HD anti-glare screen. The screen promises an NSTC color gamut of 72%, a respectable brightness of 300 nits as well as viewing angles of 178 degrees.
The Mi Gaming laptop is equipped with a RBG backlit keyboard with five individually programmable keys. For connectivity, the portable gaming console has four USB 3.0 ports, a USB C port, an HMDI 2.0 port, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a 3 + 1 memory card reader. It also contains an HD camera for conversations and video recordings in the game. Buyers also have powerful 3W dual speakers that support Dolby Audio technology.
The Mi Gaming laptop comes with Windows 10 Home Edition. Interestingly, Xiaomi incorporates dual storage with 256GB SDD hard drives and a 1TB hard drive. The choice of processors varies between Intel Core i5 and Core i7.
Xiaomi Mi Gaming Laptop Price, Availability
The Xiaomi Mi Gaming notebook is currently available and sold in China. As Jain confirmed, the portable gaming machine will arrive in India early next year.
The Mi Gaming laptop is currently selling in four configurations. The Intel Core i5-8300H 2.3 GHz processor variant, 8 GB RAM and a 4 GB GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics processor cost 6,699 CNY (approximately 70,000 INR). The variant with Intel Core i7-8750H 2.2 GHz processor, 8 GB RAM and a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4 GB graphics processor costs 7,098 CNY (about 75,000 INR).
The Mi Gaming laptop with Intel Core i5-8300H processor at 2.3 GHz, 8 GB of RAM and 6 GB of GeForce GTX 1060 is selling at 7,598 CNY (about 80,000 INR).
