Mourinho wants to stay for a fit Martial

Only months after being ready to sell, Jose Mourinho hopes that Anthony Martial will commit his future to Manchester United.

According to information, the sale of the French would be used as a guarantee to sign Ivan Perisic before the start of the season. His recent form has caused a turnaround on the part of Mourinho.

Despite the recent rejection of a new contract offer, Martial nevertheless expressed his desire to stay.

Before Saturday's move to face AFC Bournemouth, the Portuguese manager also expressed the wish that the 22-year-old remains at Old Trafford.

"I'm not part of the contract discussions," said Mourinho. "I do not participate in these kinds of discussions, I hope obviously that they will agree."

"Obviously, I would like it to stay in. I know the club wants it to stay in. I hope it's going to stay."

Scoring four goals in his last three Premier League games, Martial has become a lone spark for Manchester United, who was also sinister.

While Nemanja Matic comments that Martial's confidence has an impact on performance earlier in the week, Mourinho thinks he's realizing the realized potential.
