SINGAPORE – Malaysia is willing to risk failure with controversial new ideas presented in Budget 2019 in its bid to overcome the financial, developmental and administrative problems of the government, said Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad.
Speaking to The Straits Times on Tuesday (Nov 13), Dr Mahathir said his administration has to “listen to everybody who has ideas” and even “plagiarised” proposals in the historic Budget presentation, the first after a change of government in Malaysia.
