It also gets an extra dose of style, with LED daytime running lights and 16-inch alloy wheels. £ 20,920 is the price of the regular Allure Rifter, with the Long version starting at £ 22,620.

The range topper is GT Line, which is selling from £ 22,570 and £ 24,270 for versions to regular and long wheelbase respectively. Whichever trim you choose, all cars are painted white by default. The Active model can be available in black or red for a bit more, while Allure and GT Line get a range of five metal options for buyers to choose from.

Parallel to the debut of the production car at this year's Geneva Motor Show, Peugeot has revealed a more robust version called the Concept Rifter 4X4.
