Nokia 6.1 Plus has been in the news for quite some time and while rumors around its launch have been launched, a new announcement revealed that the Nokia 6.1 Plus will be launched as a renamed Nokia X6 on global markets. For the unknown, the Nokia X6 has been launched as the first HMD Global smartphone that comes with a notch for display.

The Nokia X6 is expected to be launched on the Nokia 6.1 Plus in the global markets on July 19 in India after that. Now, according to a recent Mysmartprice report, the Nokia 6.1 Plus debuted on the Geekbench reference site, confirming rumors that it's a renamed Nokia X6.

The list reveals that the Nokia 6.1 Plus Core Processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 coupled with Adreno 509 GPU. It will include 4 GB of RAM while the smartphone should also be launched in a variant of 6 GB of RAM. In terms of software, the list indicates that the handset will run Android 8.1 Oreo stock while the Nokia 6.1 Plus has managed the single-core and multi-core scores of 1332 and 4903 points, respectively.

As a reminder, the Nokia X6 was launched with a full HD + 5.8-inch display offering a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels as well as a 19: 9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 636 SoC from Qualcomm that comes with Adreno 509 GPU 4GB / 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. While the device runs Android 8.1 Oreo stock out-of-the-box, it features features such as dual-SIM connectivity, fingerprint scanner as well as Face Unlock for biometrics.

Coming to cameras, the Nokia X6 or the Nokia 6.1 Plus comes with a dual rear configuration with a 16-megapixel primary lens with f / 2.0 aperture and a 5-megapixel secondary lens with f / 2.0 aperture coupled with PDAF and LED flash. On the front, the smartphone features a 16-megapixel shooter and the entire package is backed by a 3060 mAh battery.
