SINGAPORE: Other activities based on the experience will be extended to approximately 6,000 Sparkletots children of the PAP Community Foundation (PCF) over the next school holidays.
Field visits are part of efforts to develop learning beyond the classroom – a key element of the PCF training program.

The programs will include visits to KidZania, where children can try different jobs and gain financial literacy, and to the SEA Aquarium, where they can learn about marine life and marine ecosystems.

In the coming years, the initiative will extend to all 360 pre-school CPF schools attended by approximately 43,000 students.
PCF's Minister of Manpower and Chair of the Executive Committee, Josephine Teo, announced the initiative Monday, Nov. 5 at Bee Amazed Garden, where 60 preschoolers learned about bees through games and role plays.

"Most of PCF's Sparkletot centers are located in areas of the Housing and Development Council (HDB), a vast majority of them have access to playgrounds and community gardens are also an integral part of their lives. learning program.

This initiative is also part of efforts to ensure that more children have access to equal learning opportunities.

In addition to outdoor activities, more structured learning programs will be offered to PCF Sparkletots children at subsidized prices in areas such as speech and drama, sports, computer literacy and social etiquette.
