The July Community Day is now over, the Pokemon Go developer, Niantic, shared the first details about next month's event. The August Community Day will begin on Saturday, August 11, but unlike previous events, it will be back on August 12, giving players two chances to participate next month.

The community days of August will each last only three hours, as was the case for previous events. During the designated periods, players will find additional health points for a particular Pokémon and earn bonus rewards for the game.

Niantic will host the Community Day of the month of August during the same window each day, although the moment you live. You can find the Community Daylight hours planned for each region below.

The featured Pokémon during the August events is Eevee. In addition to appearing in larger numbers than usual, players will likely also have the chance to find a brilliant Eevee during the hours of the event. As in previous Community Days, Eevee will also be able to learn a special movement during the event, although Niantic has not yet revealed what it will be like.

In addition to the increase in the number of Eevee, players participating in the August Community Days will earn other bonuses in the game. This time, players will receive triple the normal amount of Stardust to capture Pokemon. In addition, all Lure modules that are activated during the event will last three hours, rather than their usual 30 minutes.

While the August Community Days are still in a few weeks, the next real Pokemon Go event is just around the corner. The second annual Pokemon Go Fest will take place in Chicago this weekend, July 14-15. Even if you can not attend in person, players can participate in the World Challenges. If each region is able to reach its Global Challenge goal, Niantic will host a special Zapdos Day event on July 21st.

In addition, the Alolan forms of Diglett and Geodude will begin to appear around the world from July 14th. Niantic also announced that Legendary Pokemon Lugia will return to Raid Battles this weekend only, temporarily replacing Regice. The latter will come back as a Raid Boss after the Pokemon Go Fest and stay in the game until July 19th.
