Ranil will travel to Singapore on Sunday to attend the International Summit

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe will travel to Singapore on Sunday 8 July 2018 to attend the World Cities Summit, Singapore International Water Week and the Clean Environment Summit Singapore 2018. [19659003] It is also planned to meet Lee Hsien Loong, Prime Minister of Singapore, Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Economic and Social Policy Coordination, former Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong and senior dignitaries from the Government of Singapore

Wickremasinghe will deliver the opening address on 9 July 2018, at the summit to be held at the Sands Expo & Convention Center covering insight, trends and solutions regarding urban development and protection of the environment.

theme for this year's summit will be "Liveable and Sustainable Cities: Embracing the Future Through Innovation and Collaboration," the 6th Summit of 2018 will explore how cities can be more liveable and resilient through better governance and planning, technological and social innovations, as well as collaborations with various stakeholders and other cities.
