Samsung is working on not only two, but three versions of the upcoming flagship Galaxy S10, in a move that reflects Apple's exit strategy.

Three phones will offer a lot of new features that have never been implemented in previous Galaxy iterations. Internally, they are referred to as Beyond 0, Beyond 1 and Beyond 2, and these code names are not too surprising because they have already surfaced

Three versions of Galaxy S10 arrive

Beyond 0 is apparently an entry – Level model, or maybe a "Mini" variant of the Galaxy S10. The device will carry a fingerprint sensor on the side rather than on the back as usual, probably where the thumb would normally rest. It's a neat design change. However, this means that Beyond 0 will not incorporate a fingerprint scanner on the screen unlike its larger siblings.

The report comes from the Korean publication The Bell, citing unnamed sources. He reiterates that Beyond 1 and Beyond 2, presumably the Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy S10 Plus, will have fingerprint scanners inside the screen. This technology is about to be one of Samsung's most radical updates, although it is not the first to implement it – Vivo has this honor.

By relocating the fingerprint reader, all Galaxy S10 devices have the sensor on one of their backs, which is probably a wise design decision given the criticism surrounding its placement on newer Galaxy phones.

Do not be surprised if the Galaxy S10 range ends up being more expensive than their predecessors According to The Bell, the only component of the screen is $ 15, which represents more than seven times the cost of a fingerprint reader mounted at the back. Qualcomm would be the supplier of Samsung's optical fingerprint sensors, while the Chinese manufacturer of O-Film camera modules should also provide key components. The Samsung screen will then attach the fingerprint component in the display to the OLED display.

Is Samsung trying to follow Apple?

Device specs would not be finalized, since Beyond 0 was apparently added recently. It would be interesting to see how Samsung separates the 0 Beyond from the other two, considering its entry-level category. If anything, however, Samsung seems to follow Apple's footsteps in terms of release models. In 2017, the Cupertino brand has released three iPhones: the iPhone 8, the iPhone 8 Plus and the iPhone X. This year it is said that it comes out three new models. iPhone, including a much cheaper version of the iPhone X.

What do you think of this change reported in the broadcast model of Samsung? Is it wise to include an entry-level device in the Galaxy S wallet? As always, if you have something to share, do not hesitate to listen to them in the comments section below!
