Drones could be used in Singapore to provide vital medical supplies to a patient in case of emergency or to respond to a security breach under a new system being developed, announced Tuesday a private consortium. "Our goal is to enable any company that needs to fly drones (beyond the visual sight of pilots) in Singapore to do so safely and efficiently," said Ong Jiin Joo, director of Future Flight project.
The consortium gave a two-year timeline for the development of the system and committed to rigorous security testing
