SINGAPORE – Preschoolers learning Tamil can now have fun adopting the language of River Safari, telling stories and listening to singalong sessions on physical attributes, habits food and animal lifestyles. and the Promotion Committee (TLLPC) and Wildlife Reserves Singapore (WRS) collaborated to launch the Tamil edition of the Wow Wild Learn (WWL) program on Wednesday, July 18th. The program includes a series of activities for preschoolers and training workshops for Tamil-speaking teachers. Sixteen teachers from 14 preschool centers will participate this year, with centers receiving subsidized funding.

Before the learning trip, teachers must attend a day – long training session at the River Safari to prepare them and the children. an interactive program of one hour by WRS to learn about pandas.

Teachers also design parent-child activities so that children can engage their families in the learning process. This can include parent-child performance using the Tamil language, as well as interactive activities covered by additional readers.
