Cricket South Africa (CSA) has appointed Thabang Moroe as the new Executive Director. Moroe has been the interim managing director of the year since Haroon Lorgat resigned.
In a statement announcing the appointment Monday, July 16, CSA said that Moroe would take office with immediate effect and would serve a three-year contract.
"The appointment of Mr. Moroe follows a rigorous and rigorous process for this important position," said CSA President Chris Nenzani. "I would like to thank the subcommittee of the Council and my Council colleagues who have made this deal a very satisfying conclusion."
"Mr. Moroe has done an excellent job over the past year in taking this position under circumstances far from ideal.
