The 2018 World Cup has been rich in exciting matches: the Tuesday afternoon game between Switzerland and Sweden was not one of them.

The "Nati", as the national team is known in Switzerland, has been described as "safe" by the regional daily Aarguer Zeitung.

The players did not "win the victory," the paper said, noting that the country had once again left the World Cup in the round of 16. Tuesday night, introspection was already underway. "Switzerland is missing something," said the Swiss national broadcaster SRF
