We are just days away from the official launch of Volkswagen's smallest SUV to date. The T-Cross will appear to the world on October 25 and the German manufacturer has decided to publish another teaser, hopefully final, before the big premiere.
In this new preview video, the T-Cross shows its interior again and reveals elements of its rear design. We are pleased to announce that the exterior of the front will continue to the rear with a distinctive signature of the light-emitting diode hidden under what appears to be a clear plastic cover.
As a vehicle based on Polo technology, the T-Cross will share many of its components with the popular European hatchback. These include the entire digital instrument cluster and the general interior layout. Technology enthusiasts will probably be happy to hear that the small crossover will feature a wireless charger in the center console.
It's probably no surprise to anyone that the T-Cross also drives like a Polo, but with a higher driving position. At the rear, the rear seat is adjustable and offers a loading capacity of 385 liters (13.6 cubic feet) to 455 liters (16.07 cubic feet) depending on its position. If you fold the seats flat, the cargo space will expand to 1,281 liters (45.24 cubic feet).

The MQB A0-based vehicle will be offered with a range of known engines, including a 1.0-liter three-cylinder base unit and a larger 1.5-liter turbo engine. Depending on the market, customers will also be able to order it with an economical 1.6 liter diesel. The only mystery that remains here is whether the T-Cross will be available as an option with a four-wheel drive system or it will remain a front-drive machine only.
