SINGAPORE: The Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) offers its part-time adult students free modules when they are getting married or have children while studying.

The bonus program for marriage and the baby, said the university in a press release issued Friday (July 13), is in favor of "Singapore's continued efforts to encourage marriage and the parenting ".

To be eligible, the student must also be a Singaporean or Singaporean permanent resident and have registered his or her marriage, or the birth or adoption of the child, from the July 23rd.

If a candidate qualifies by either marriage or having children, he or she will be able to redeem two bonus modules of five credit units each, or a 10 credit module.

The program is open to all SUSS students enrolled in its part-time programs, including undergraduate, law and postgraduate programs.

SUSS students or corporate sponsors can not benefit from the program.
