Found a simple way to avoid heart disease.
Journal of the American Society of Cardiology (ACC) published on the pages of data obtained in the new study, researchers at Harvard University in Boston.
These experts have found that nut consumption provides a powerful protective effect against diseases of the heart and blood vessels.
Nuts, including peanuts, significantly reduce the risk of developing cardiovascular disease, experts said. For the protection of the myocardium, they recommend eating only two handfuls of mixed nuts a week.
In the study of American doctors, 210,000 people participated. Doctors have observed the influence of the state of their cardiovascular system on the use of nuts, almonds, hazelnuts, cashews, pistachios, pecans and peanuts ( this product does not apply to nuts). They found that: people who ate at least five servings of nuts a week reduced the risk of coronary heart disease (CHD) to a minimum. In particular, they have the probability of developing coronary heart disease has been decreased by 20%, other cardiovascular diseases – by 14%.
Even double uses of nuts a week have shown a significant effect of improving cardiac performance, noted the researchers. In particular, people who ate peanuts or nuts twice or more a week had a lower risk of cardiovascular disease and coronary artery disease in 13% and 15%, respectively, than those who did not eat it.
The most powerful healing potential during the tests showed nuts. Their regular use of 21% reduced the risk of coronary heart disease and 19% of all cardiovascular diseases, said the authors.
