Todd Howard of Bethesda says Starfield targets next-generation systems

During his briefing E3 2018, Bethesda finally announced a new game that was spread for several years. Starfield is a sci-fi adventure that takes you through the universe.

There is very little to do now, but Bethesda has already built rich and beloved worlds with The Elder Scrolls and Fallout. If he can do the same thing with Starfield, he can have a hit on his hands for a whole new audience. However, only time will tell. This is the first new publisher franchise for 25 years.

On stage at E3, Todd Howard of Bethesda said that Starfield was a new-generation solo game. Starfield is a game on which the company has thought and worked for years, something that seems unique to him.

In a recent interview between Eurogamer and Howard, the developer revealed more details about the project.

the systems on which we put them – what are the material requirements – remain to be determined. We push him. We think very, very far in the future, so we build something that will manage the new generation hardware. That's what we rely on right now, that's what we think, but that does not mean that it would not exist on current systems either. "

Unfortunately, it looks like Starfield will not be coming out soon as it targets the successor to Xbox One X. I hope Bethesda will release earlier but given the complexity of the studio's experiments, this does not seem to be the case. We will keep you informed as soon as we know more about the line.
