Two men injured in chain collision at Woodlands checkpoint, Singapore News

Two drivers were injured in a traffic accident involving four cars at the Woodlands Checkpoint viaduct on Sunday, July 1st.

Photos posted by the Facebook user مصباح الفلاح والإصلاح show the aftermath of the incident.

At least three of the vehicles were heavily damaged, with smoke escaping debris.

Police told Stomp that they had been notified of the incident at 3:28 am

Two men, aged 32 and 51, were consciously transported to the hospital of Khoo Teck Puat for treatment.

Police investigations are ongoing

Stomp understands that three of the vehicles involved were cars registered in Singapore. The remaining vehicle was a car registered in Malaysia.

The Immigration and Control Points Authority (ICA) released a notice on his Facebook page Sunday morning, informing motorists that the Woodlands Checkpoint viaduct was closed

He also advised the public to follow the instructions of his officers and drive safely.

This marks the second accident on the Causeway in two days.

On June 30, another accident involving a trailer, a truck and three motorbikes saw two people killed and three injured.
