The two twin sisters who were filmed assaulting and spitting a condominium manager were convicted of their misdemeanors after an extended trial of 21 days over two years.

When the hearing resumed, Siaw told the court that the separate incident that occurred in 2015 was due to a misunderstanding between her and her former boss, who has since withdrawn the case.
Siaw added that the sisters would not pay compensation to Quek, as they considered themselves victims in the matter. The twins are currently involved in two ongoing civil lawsuits against Quek and her employer, Hilandas Property and Facilities Management.
