After being completely impressed by CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077 demo at E3 2018, we were eager to delve deeper into his dystopian science-fiction universe. To this end, my fellow IGN table (read: Huge nerds) Cassidee Moser and Casey DeFreitas decided to check the RPG pen and paper on which he was based, Cyberpunk 2020. We were lucky enough to have Mike Pondsmith (creator of Cyberpunk 2020 / 203X / RED) are in agreement to lead the session, because who better to show the world of Cyberpunk than the man behind?

Our Adventure took us in Night City, from a luxurious apartment in the hills to downtown and in the incredibly dangerous battle zone, and introduced us to a host of factions and wild characters (including but not limited to a bunch of cosplayers Gilligan's Island especially crazy). While we are sure that there will be major differences between the 2020 or 203X table experience and Cyberpunk 2077, it was a great time and a great way to immerse ourselves in the unique style of the Cyberpunk world. .
