The successor to Redmi Note 5 is coming soon. According to reports, Xiaomi will unveil the Redmi Note 6 series in China next week. The phone is expected to launch in India later this year.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has already been unveiled in Thailand. Redmi Note 6 is priced at THB 6,900, which equates to approximately Rs 15,500, with new design and improvements in the camera department.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro comes with a quad-camera configuration including two cameras at the front and back. The smartphone is equipped with a 12 megapixel Dual Pixel sensor and a 5 megapixel depth sensor at the back. It also has dual 20 megapixel and 2 megapixel sensors.

Just like the other Xiaomi phones launched this year, the Redmi Note 6 camera embraces artificial intelligence. Portrait 2.0 (based on the AI) improved on the phone and intelligent recognition of scenes in 27 categories.

The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 intermediate processor, combined with a 4000 mAh battery. Its 6.26-inch crenellated Full HD + display is larger and its picture size is 19: 9. It is endowed with 2.5D Gorilla Glass protection.
