Six 49ers who could play the final game for the Team of the Week 17 against the Seahawks

The 49ers have 17 players on the injured reserve and two more, center Weston Richburg and defensive lineman Ronald Blair, who has spent the entire season on the list of players physically unable to perform.

In addition, seven other players from the 53-man roster have been formally excluded from the opportunity to appear for Sunday’s 49ers season finale against the Seattle Seahawks in Glendale, Ariz.

Of those on the lists above, it seems likely that NFL All-Decade cornerback Richard Sherman, runner-up Dee Ford and Richburg have already played their last games with the 49ers. And with a total of 27 players slated for unrestricted free agency, there will be quite a few players who won’t be back in 2021.
