Six Bioware classics will arrive on consoles this fall

Game developers and publishers Skybound Games and Beamdog are responsible for bringing the collection of beloved RPGs to new systems. The companies promise that the games will be designed for consoles, with controls optimized for controllers. All games were equipped with a graphical update and native support for high-resolution widescreen displays, which would have been rare at the time of their initial release.

New content has also been added, as well as new characters, classes, and player creation options. There are even multiplayer features in some titles so you can take nostalgic trips with your friends. Skybound Games and Beamdog say they've eliminated old bugs, improved character balance and improved the UI along the way. Assuming companies keep all their promises, reinvented classics should offer something to players, young and old alike.
