Six leaders on the list of players against the Packers on Thursday night

NFL teams must submit their final composition by 3 pm Arrowhead Time on Saturday, and the last places on the 53-player lineup are again to win as the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Green Bay Packers in Thursday's final pre-season game.

Sure Preliminary edition of this week's Arrowhead Pride lab game, we talked about three players on both sides of the football who need good performances Thursday night to win one of the final places.

Offense

Cody Thompson

Thompson has shown a lot of promise as a receiver, but so far he has not been sufficiently present in the special teams. In order to occupy a receiver position at the bottom of the Chiefs depth table, the special teams must be trusted – De'Anthony Thomas is back largely thanks to his abilities as a "hidden third" of football. Thompson has to play one or two on special teams to help his cause. It can be difficult to get Thompson to waive, so the Chiefs will need to be able to trust him enough in the special teams to use a prime location for him.

Carlos Hyde

Rookie Darwin Thompson has climbed the depth chart and seems to be prepared to play a bit – while Hyde is in free fall. Hyde has always shown capable hands, pass protection ability and a physical race style, but he has not shown much of this pre-season. It looks a bit less explosive than before – and maybe a bit out of shape. It's his chance to prove that he's worthy of keeping his job.

Kahlil McKenzie

The Chiefs practically played last season with a training of 51 players. Safety Eric Berry was part of the lineup but only played two games in the regular season. McKenzie was in the other slot on the player list, a convert from the defensive line who remained inactive all season. McKenzie sometimes shows flashes, but there is still work going on. If he does not show enough growth to continue to grow, he may not be part of this football team.

Defense

Dorian O'Daniel

O'Daniel was among the top 100 NFL draft picks last year. You rarely see a team leave so quickly of such a choice, but it could happen to the Clemson product this Saturday. O'Daniel was relegated to the second half of the pre-season games, a time usually reserved for unrestrained free agents who will probably not be part of the team. He has always played in special teams, but he may be released.

Jérémie Attaochu

Matt Lane was impressed by Attaochu as a hocus-pocus in the pre-season and sees it as an asset valuable enough to be preserved. Attaochu has been under the radar of the Chiefs' fans for most of the offseason, but he is not far from being ranked among the top 50 players whose career has been disrupted by injuries in San Diego – his season the healthiest during which he produced six bags. There are some abilities – and he's still only 26 years old. Another productive week could make the day of decision a little more difficult for the leaders.

Justin Hamilton

Hamilton has been an active member of the team for two seasons in the NFL. He is a great man who moves well for his size. Hamilton set up a good camp and lobbied for an opportunity. If the leaders keep nine defensive linemen, he could win a place – depending on what the team does with Breeland Speaks. If the leaders believe that Speaks could return at the end of the year, he will have to be part of the initial list of 53 people before being placed in the reserve of the wounded. it can not be returned from IR if it is not on the opening list. But if they choose to end Speaks' season by placing him in the injured reserve before Saturday, Hamilton could carve out a place with a strong performance against the Packers.
