Six Steelers among those nominated for the HOF

The Steelers are well represented among the nominees of the modern era for the category of the Professional Football Hall of Fame of 2020.

Troy Polamalu is nominated for the first time. This year, security is eligible for the Hall of Fame. Two of his former defensive teammates, nose tackle Casey Hampton and linebacker James Farrior, are also on the roster.

Alan Faneca, finalist for the last four years, Hines Ward, semifinalist of the last three years, and Gary Anderson are also on the list.

The determination of the Elders, Contributors and Coaches finalists will be led by a 25-person Centennial Blue Ribbon Panel to review the accumulated backlog of Elders, Coaches and Deserving Collaborators.
