Not Ben’s best play, to be fair, as six of his seven turnovers were bad passes out of character. But it was good to see him in attack mode. He picked up the pace for a handful of thunderous transitional finishes, which we’ve seen time and time again, but Simmons also expanded his repertoire with nearly half a dozen inside hooks against vigorous rookie defenseman Isaac Okoro. . Oh, and for the “shoot a 3, you loose” crowd, Ben hit a completely insignificant 3 at the end of overtime.

After Furkan Korkmaz was extremely ineffective, Scott replaced him alongside

the starting group in the second half. Mike hit his two field goal attempts, making a timely cut from a post-up from Simmons, then nailing a top-of-the-key 3 on a kick-out from Joel. The veteran forward has also been solid in his defensive rotations; all in all, good minutes from Scott, which the team will certainly need as long as Tobias is out.
