If you've heard this before, stop us. Skip Bayless tweeted something on Monday night that caused a lot of anger. This time it was Kevin Durant's status in the fifth game.
Durant injured his calf in the fifth game against the Houston Rockets in the second round. He stayed away for over a month and, of course, people began to wonder why he had not returned to the field – especially with the Warriors struggling with the first four games of the final of the NBA.
One of these people was Bayless. After having seen Durant during the warm-ups, he was openly wondering why Durant had not been allowed to play in the fourth game.
Needless to say, Skip's tweet has not aged well. Durant has probably torn his Achilles tendon in the second trimester and is currently planning a 6 to 12 month recovery.
KD seemed much better during his pre-match warm-up solo than I thought. Well moved. No sign of protecting / promoting his calf / Achilles. In fact, he looked so healthy that you wondered why he had not tried to participate in the fourth game.

You are as bright as a broken Game Boy at the bottom of the Mariana Pit.

This is not the worst Bayless tweet, but it's an addition to the list.
As for Durant, the warriors seem convinced that he had a torn Achilles. An MRI is scheduled for Tuesday morning.
The Raptors are now leading the 3-2 series. The sixth match will take place on Thursday night.
