Skyrim gamer discovers secret vampire character 10 years later

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has been out – on various platforms like PS3, PS4, PS5, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, PC, and Nintendo Switch – for 10 years, but gamers are always discovering new things. In order for a game to last a decade, it typically needs to have some online or game-as-a-service elements. Skyrim doesn’t have either of those things, but it’s still played by many to this day, partly thanks to its various re-releases, but more due to the sheer amount of content it contains. You can play Skyrim over and over again and always discovering new things every time.

The latest example comes from the game’s Reddit page, where a player recently revealed that Sybille Stentor, a character in the game, is not being detected when using life detection. In other words, they are a vampire.

As you may know, this is not a brand new discovery, as some players have confirmed. However, it seems a sizable amount of the game’s Reddit page has no idea, and given that the game’s Reddit page is populated with the game’s biggest and most die-hard fans, it’s safe to assume. much of the game’s larger, more laid-back playerbase also has no idea that Stentor is a vampire.

For those who don’t know: Sybille Stentor is officially the Courtyard Witch of the Blue Palace of Solitude. It has never been revealed to be a Breton vampire, but it can be discovered not only by using life detection, but by looking them closely in the eye with Dawn Guard installed.
