Skyrim’s guards seem to have decided that they no longer need to wear the uniform and leggings around Markarth and Solitude in their underwear.
Skyrim is world famous for how bizarre its issues can be, as evidenced by the recent phenomenon of gamers showcasing their experiences with giants riding dragons. These issues often become popular with the gaming community and are viewed as unintentional humor, instead of being irritating or deterrent.
This news is very strange, however, as several people encounter Imperial Guards guarding the streets in the Tension Zone. Check out the Reddit post below.
Let me guess… someone stole your uniform… in Skyrim
“Let me guess… someone stole your uniform” is a world-class caption for this downright amazing screenshot. Imagine being a guard tasked with keeping the streets of Markarth safe and waltzing to the last Dragonborn in a pair of sharp turns. How does this man still have a job, I thought to myself. The Imperial Guards surely have a strict dress code.
Apparently not, because the guys at Solitude are doing the exact same thing. Even those who patrol the gardens of the Blue Palace, where the former great king of Skyrim lived.

“You have committed crimes against Skyrim and its people,” the guard said. “What are you saying in your defense?”
“Put on some pants, man,” I said. “Surely you can’t take me to jail in your Calvins.”
So far I’ve only seen two people posting screenshots of guards refusing to wear reasonable clothes, but trends are spreading pretty quickly in the Elder Scrolls community. For example, a few months ago, people spent centuries debating Elder Scrolls dicks en masse. As soon as someone posts something new, everyone starts sharing their content. The Skyrim subreddit is likely going to be inundated with undressed guards in no time.
However, it’s still not the best Skyrim story of the past few weeks. The best is about the person who has decided to submit all of their university essays in Dovah. I’m sure Paarthurnax would have been impressed, but I highly doubt whoever scored him.
