Square Enix presents a new Nintendo Switch controller to be launched in Japan alongside Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age. Made by Hori, the fun-filled gamepad is inspired by the famous Slime character from the RPG series. This is in line with similar controllers previously released for PS4 and PS4.
The semi-spherical cushion measures 145mm x 145mm x 124mm and offers all the features of a standard Switch Pro controller, as well as automatic firing options and an integrated gyroscope for tilt movements. With wireless support via Bluetooth, the Slime Controller can be charged by connecting it to the Home Switch with a USB-C cable.
To complete the set, the controller even offers a cardboard treasure chest and a crown diorama, so that the Slime can be displayed in its natural habitat.
