The Energy Observer is the first energy-independent hydrogen machine that produces no greenhouse gases and no particulate emissions.

The vessel, specifically the Energy Observer catamaran, introduced in France in 2017 in Saint-Maine, is powered by electricity and combines renewable energies and a marine hydrogen system with a minimum carbon footprint .

For six years, Energy Observer navigates more than 7,500 nautical miles and visits 50 countries

This is the first attempt to flood the entire planet with an independent energy craft. Hydrogen as fuel gives the boat a significant advantage in terms of weight compared to a solution where energy is stored exclusively with batteries

The Energy Observer measures more than 30 meters long , almost 13 meters wide and weighs 28 tons. After last year's trip to France, he now settles in the Mediterranean and will head north to Europe in 2019.

In 2020, he will then arrive in Tokyo to visit the 2020 Olympic Games , its main objective. During his six-year trip, he visited 50 countries and had 101 intercity trips. Currently, there are 23 stops in 12 countries
