ZAHREB, July 4 (WebNoviny.sk) – Agrokor's Croatian agri-food network has accepted an agreement that prevents bankruptcy of the company. The agreement provides that more than 46% of the largest company in Croatia will take control of two Russian banks.
Agrokor, which employs 60,000 people and contributes 15% of Croatian gross domestic product, reached a debt of 8 billion. including debt to two Russian public banks, namely Sberbank and VTB
About 450 representatives of creditors attended the vote on the agreement. About 80% voted for an agreement. Under contract, suppliers can expect the company to pay 60% of their claims, with banks standing at 20%.
