The theatrical scene of the Slovak capital will have no break during the holiday months.
Bratislava Castle will host the 18th annual Shakespeare Summer Festival, which will take place from July 4th to 26th
. The program of the festival opens on Wednesday evening the production of Hamlet in Prague, directed by Michal Vajdička. The culmination of Shakespeare's tragedy is linked to family and political tragedy, when kings can not be reconciled with the death of their father. The show was premiered in Prague on July 27, 2017. . The second production will be The Merry Wives of Windsor towards Jiří Menzel.
