Mainz July 10 (TASR) – German automaker Daimler on Tuesday presented its first Mercedes-Benz electric bus in Mainz. The goal of the automaker is to start with its mass production so that these environmentally friendly means of transport gradually replace existing buses
Daimler plans to spend 200 million euros for this program by 2020.
The eCitaro bus is the first bus. It will be produced in Mannheim and Daimler wants to mass produce by the end of the year. In Mannheim, buses are already tested on the road, and Berlin and Hamburg send orders to the group
