The triathlete Richard Varga is fighting for gold at the European Championships in Tartu

TARTU July 20 (WebNoviny.sk) – Slovakian representative Richard Varga won the gold medal at the European Championships in the Triathlon sprint in Estonia Tartu. Varga finished 0.75 km of swimming, 20 km by bike and 5 km in 53:07 minutes.

The second was finished by the Spanish Uxío Abuin Ares, who was late on the native Bratislava for 11 seconds. Third place was taken by another Spanish player Roberto Sánchez Mantecón in 53:19. Varga won the title of World Triathlon Champion for Slovakia

. Among the women, Sophie Coldwell from the UK was the most successful 58:32 min. Slovakia's Romana Gajdošová (1:01:53 h) and Iveta Kuriacka (1:06:39) finished 27th respectively.
